Gamers around the world have already rung in the New Year, but 2008 has some unfinished business left: the Overall Game of the Year Award. That's right -- IGN's much coveted honor will be awarded this Friday, so ready the message boards and put on the flame retardant suits. Before we get to the award itself, IGN will be unveiling each of the five nominees throughout the course of the week (alphabetically in case you were wondering).
