Phoenix Games reviews ROCK REVOLUTION

"Rock Revolution" is an obvious attempt to ride the current wave of rock music game popularity this holiday season. It's also a fun game that offers guitar and drum heroes another outlet for their plastic instrument excitement.

It would be too easy to just trash this game because it can't compete with the current monsters of rock – Rock Band and Guitar Hero. It is true that the songs are covers, the animations and graphics are uninspired and there are no vocals. It is also true that the game feels like a rush job.

But it has its moments. That's a lot more than can be said for some other genre knock-offs.
