SOCOM PS3 game, server errors frustrate buyers

Various game and server errors for Sony Corp.'s launch of SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs: Confrontation caused frustrated Playstation 3 owners to cry foul on launch day.

Malfunction issues included game disconnects, room disconnects, Corrupt File errors, and 'Operation Could Not Be Completed' error messages.

A problem can occur when players are required to download an update to the title. When the update is installed a 'Corrupt File' message appears when it is automatically loaded.

Additionally, when operating through the online menu, random operation error messages prompt the player more than once.

Unhappy buyers took to the game's official online message board to vent.
