Looks like one of our trailers just got leaked, it was meant ot be a suprise owell, yes this is what we are capable of on the Sony Playstation 3 using only a fraction of its power. Detail footage like this one take time but as described it a monster machine, hopefully if M$ dont bribe us we are hoping to keep this one exclusive to the PS3.

Really nice, the fighting sequences are great. Any one actually know the gameplay style for this? I'm hoping for some FF meets DMC. Well just something a little more action orientated, I've never been able to fully except turn based combat.

I was always looking forward to versus. Because I didn't like ff12, and it seems like 13 will have the same combat system. And I think it's great that FF13 goes multi platform, because then more people gets to play it. The more people that plays the same game, the more joy you can have about talking about it with other fans, friends and gamers.

I miss random encounters with lvls and some what of customizable skill and magic system. Square better make FFXIIII with random encounters, or then it's over for me as a FF fan

if youve got eyes and ears, its been UPLOADED BY A "USER" on gamtrailers and the sound qulity is too good for it to be live (on in the background or on the vid) while the video was recorded, maybe the "USER" put the music over the video after he got a hold of it.

I can see your point but as a PS3 only owner I will have to say that I have read a lot of posts before E3 that said they preferred vs over XIII since the original trailers for both were released simultaneously. Personally, when I heard that ffXIII was going multi I was like BFD... I still get to play it. If this game goes to the 360 also, I will still enjoy it just as much. I have bought every FF game since VII and it is the only series I will buy day 1, no questions asked (excluding the remakes and sequels ie DoC and X-2). As long as I get the same game that the devs would have made when it was PS3 exclusive, they can put it on the Wii for all I care.

I bet Xbox360 cant make it to look as good as the version for the Ps3 because the frame rate ....FF13 I guess is possible to look ok on the 360 because it is a rpg and so the action+beauty in the game is not as heavy to the console as FF13 versus would be.

that was AMAZING, the CGI graphics look better then what you would see in Films, this game looks to be more suited to hardcore gamers, even the name ''Finale Fantasy v.s 13'' sounds all action packed, its a good thing its PS3 exclusive and i can understand why SE kept this as a PS3 exclusive game, they gave the sissy FF13 to the bot (its even downgraded lol) and they kept the HARD CORE BADASS Action FFvs13 to us, just picture a sleek glossy Black PS3 and the picture the scene with the blue haired guy sitting in the car, it just goes with the PS3 feel (if you know what i mean)

I think I need to change my avatar. As others are saying its all about the art direction, and as this trailer shows that aspect of this game is INSANE!!!. Now, I really don't trust anything a 3rd party dev says this gen since Bioshock and FF 13 announcements, but I don't even care if this loses its current PS3 exclusivity. Seeing SO4 has reassured me that the in-game graphics will likely be amazing for both FF13's no matter what.

What seeing this trailer does for me though, is show that Versus is way more interesting to me now. This is just the right balance between fantasy and high tech/ modern world feel that really will suck me in (like 7 did), whereas FF13 really seems (stylistically) like a super-pretty FF10

Stop bringing turn based to the comments... Not this or FF XIII will be turn based, they already stated that one zillion of times on E3 interviews...

Anyway, I would like something different from this one... I can see it not even being an RPG, only using RPG elements into it. But not as crazy as people think it would be a fighting game some time a go...

I think of something way more in the action genre, like some hack n' slash (DMC, GOW, NG, LOK) with way more strategy, weapons, leveling up and all RPG stuff, some parting system, itens to use, pretty much everything you would want. While less animations and movements for the same weapon, don't rely so much in combos (if any at all), less platformer element and way less linear than most actual H&S.

So, like a perfect remake of Symphony of the Knight in a plane world (the castle would suggest too much into platformer if remaked) should be in a 3D environment for the gameplay. But a 'classic FF' for the story telling, the quests, progression, you got it...

Just wild speculating through.
