A rumor was flying around the internet that MGS4 would have 90 minute cut-scenes. Well a Gamepro editor says this rumor is false.
"I've beat the game twice, and am the author of the forthcoming [GamePro] review," Shuman said. "Ninety-minute-long cinemas in MGS4 sounds like an exaggeration. Like the other MGS games, MGS4 definitely has a cinematic quality. And yes, some of the cut-scenes in the game are elaborate and occasionally lengthy. But not a one, to my recollection, even approaches 90 minutes."

“I thoroughly enjoy retro-style games and with that, Magic Orbz modernises the classic brick breaking formula and it has held up beautifully.” - A.J. Maciejewski from Video Chums.
BLG writes, "Some of the most popular games have had a rough start, with some of them being downright unplayable.
Despite that, developers have managed to turn it around for them and make their game worth playing. Here are some games that had a rough start but were pretty great."
Sea of Thieves... I'm not disagreeing that the game has improved in terms of content. But I feel that the most significant change between now and its release is actually the public perception. Nowadays, most people are aware that the game is a multiplayer PvP-focused experience first and foremost, and not "Black Flag made by Rare". Consequently, people dismissing the whole experience because the single-player aspect is lacking or the story is plain are much less common.
Days gone! By the end of the game I couldn't drop it down! I went around so many hours killing zombies! It was addictive by the end.
lol i was already getting my pop corn ready. Fanboys will do anything to try to drag this game down. At least they still have the 4.6GB to whine about
I really don't mind long cut scenes. MGS series have the best cut scenes and i enjoy watching them just as much as i love playing. I actually don't remember any long cut scenes in the previous series because i was consistently entertained. I never felt the need to skip it or anything like that
Well MS ---your efforts to HALT MGS4 juggernaut withered away like the petals of a dry rose

@vega
GT5P killed x360 in europe. You wll never find x360 HW /SW in any eu charts except UK. even in UK PS3 is just 500k shy off x360's total base.
GT5P has outsold Halo3/GEARS/any x360 game in europe within 1 month of its release there.
GT5P and GTA4 killed x360 in europe.
MGS4 will make it worldwide.
HAZE and MGS4 are not the same thing
However HAZE and GAYLO3 at 640p are the same thing --both are crap
BTW Mass effect and Bioshock are both on PS3 too so what remains for x360??

delete demos
X360 arcade doesnt even have an HDD
x360 premium has just 20 gig HDDD haahha.
since all of PS3 skus have HDD by default we can install /uininstall games as many times as we wish. Unlike GARBAGE BOX 360 games PS3 games dont have POP INS/LONG LOADING TIMES/SCREEN TEARING and not to mention no x360 game runs at 60 fps SOLID
On the other hand we have 5 games that not only runs at 1080p native but at SOLID 60fps
NGS,RR7,WARDEVIl,GT5p<WIPE OUT HD all run at 1080p native at 60 fps
we have 28 other games which run at 1080p native rez
We didnt just get Bioshock
We got Oblivion/mass effect/lost planet/dead rising too
as for GTA4 it did what it was supposed to do for PS3.
move HW. GTA4 didnt move any HW for either console in US but it moved HW BUT JUST for PS3 in europe
from June 12th 2008 ---the BOT force will be totally silent
death will rule upon XFIX ME
@vega
we can upgrade our HDD too.
Too bad u arestuck with a garbage 120 gig MS HDD for 179$$
the Blu Ray drive in PS3 ALONE is worth more than x360
I'm actually DISAPPOINTED that there isn't such a Cut Scene.
Yeah it IS a pretty ridiculous rumor to begin with. Non of the previous MGS games cut-scenes were THAT long. Although I am interested if they took out the codec conversations or maybe if they just made it into a in game cutscene, I haven't seen a screen shot of it anywhere.
That's CVG for you. They exaggerate (lie), twist words to make a bigger deal of something than it actually is and take things way out of context. They did it with the dlc for GTA and now they are doing it with MGS.
Regardless, I wouldn't have minded 90 minute cutscenes provided it was a mindblowing experience (which every MG game is).
