Set your calendars folks. Everyone's favorite god-killing, murderous Spartan is returning to home consoles sooner than expected. Well, that is if you believe GameStop.

The retail giant has already begun taking pre-orders for the next installment of the God of War franchise. According to their web site, the PS3 exclusive will be released on March 2, 2009.
