GTA IV receives another perfect score + radio stations revealed

The latest issue of the UK's Official PlayStation Magazine is reaching subscribers and it includes another review of GTA 4. They awarded the game 10/10 and published a complete list of all in game radio stations!

It deserves to get 10/10 from every review.
It has both a long single player as well as a multiplayer and is a complete full game.

Halo averages to be around 93 with a short single player.
Cod4 to be 94 for the same thing.
Bioshock - 95 with no online.
Mass effect - 90 with no online.

I am not saying that these games don't deserve the score they do because of short campaign or no online but these games are not even in the same league as GTAiv.

How can gta show that's its far superior from games like halo if it doesn't get all 10s.

Did you guys really think Rockstar would release a shoddy Playstation 3 version? This is Rockstar they aren't like most lazy developers both platforms of the game were developed on seperately. The only difference between the XBOX 360 and Playstation 3 version is that XBOX 360 build has slightly brighter graphics thats it (DLC content aside).

All this crap can stop now about which version is better. Who cares? both versions are virtually the same they will both be amazing to play on. This is coming from a Playstation 3 owner.

I wish reviewers would make it clear what standards they use when scoring games.

Off the top of my head, I can think of 3...Technical accomplishment, Fun Factor, Hype...I'm sure you guys could come up with some more.
I think that the gaming audience is so diverse today, that many of us would judge games completely differently.

Yes, GTA games have always been fun for me. And I really didn't care much for the tech issues here and there. But, with that said and if you as a reviewer / scorer are taking into account the factors / standards I mentioned above, how can a game that has issues (pop-up, disappearing cars etc.) get a perfect score? Even if you weight the different factors, if any one of them is not perfect, the overall score couldn't be a 10.

I'm not bashing the game (trust me, I'll be getting it). I'm just saying that I believe the time has come for there to be a set list of things that are considered when scoring a game, not just an overall "gut" score.

Claiming its the best racing experience and best graphics and yet they only gave it a 8/10... Ok now looking at GTA4 it doesnt have the best graphics, Its much improved yes, gameplay is prolly top notch for sure, but if the character models still have the clunky look to em.. HOW the HELL does it get a 10/10 if they graphics arent the best..
