Indie Games: John Hight Interview

Despite a rough start, Sony's PlayStation 3 has found its feet. Between the company's strategic Blue-ray push, and and a software slate that includes upcoming exclusive titles such as Metal Gear Solid 4 and LittleBigPlanet, 2008 looks to be a promising year for the system. The surprising aspect of the new Sony is the PlayStation Network. Independent game development has enriched Sony's online component and games such as Flow and Everyday Shooter have not only caught critics' attention, they're selling.

GameTap met with Sony's director of product development, John Hight, who oversees outreach to independent developers, to talk about Sony's plans for the future.
