Agree, these pictures looks really good and make me want to play the game. But since quite many of the Sonic games has been terrible im a little sceptic. Even though, i havnt played a single Sonic game so im a little prejudiced, i guess. :)

I've played almost every sonic game, and there hasn't really been a good 3d one since SA2. The PS3/360 one was a slap in the face. I am skeptical of this one as well, just let me know how that RPG is coming right Bioware? Oh wait, EA bought Bioware...damn it

But So did the Sonic game for 360/PS3, but it sucked.

But dear god, Please don't let this game suck. Sonic such a great series, and I want to see it back at greatness. Doing small things like:

- Making Sonic the only character you can play as
- Focus on Speed. NO WEAPONS
- Super Sonic. Hell yeah. Thats the spirit =]

I dont think this will bring sonic back just because it has pretty renders.
It looks like they kept the Wii's gameplay in there?all you see is small narrow paths(so lots of running?).
Shifting before you hit a box shows that they are trying to bring back the speed.

Looks awesome though, but >_> Sonic is best being 2d.

As good as it looks, I'm still jaded because of Sega screwing up every Sonic game since SA2. I'm not so quick to jump on the bandwagon until I see they've learned from their mistakes, we'll see how this one turns out though. ..

I need another sonic game in my collection. SATSR was an awesome game but needed tweaking. This one looks reaaly nice and hopefully it dosent dissapoint.
