Rumour: Some interesting rumour's from UK magazine, PSM3's 'The Insider'

Dubbed 'the man who knows too much', their insider teases us with some of the latest PlayStation murmurings:

- The insider tells us to expect a 'big' announcement involving Home, including information about 'trophies' or achievements "to rival the Xbox live system".

- A sequel for a popular Xbox 360 title will be 'received' soon, and that it will be making its first appearance on the PS3, he also states this isn't Lost Planet.

Dead rising 2 or bioshock 2. Would take bioshock over dead rising. Owned dead rising and bioshock 1 already so don't really care for neither.

Probably DR2. They'll just skip over DR and release DR2 simultaneously. Still confused over the wording. Do they mean that the sequel will be timed exclusive on the PS3 or do they mean that the original will hit the PS3 as well? If it is the case of timed exclusive, then I would change my guess to Ace Combat 7 (something Namco Bandai has done with Ridge Racer 6 and 7).

They are very big rumours and we have seen so many fly around, we all know cross media bar is coming out "supposedly summer" and don't we all already know about the trophies and achievements... I think Sony needs to change a lot around, I want connectivity on all parts of the PS3 and I want to see it done well, I think we should have user profiles and an alternative but not a forceful change to the Cross media bar, it doesn't have to be just that, I want to feel like I am always on line even playing a single player or listening to music I want to be thinking hey I am just going to listen to some music and I end up seeing someone playing Cod4 and jump right in with them, I also would like to see an optional if home starts up as soon as you log in to your account, And why is the cross media bar taking so long, The PS3 needs to destroy every aspect of Xbox360, it does so in its reliable hardware, but I want it to put Xbox Live to shame, Their games to shame, their software and general console to shame, I want it to put there gamers to shame... Will it happen?, hopefully... (nothing against Xbox or there owners but I own a PS3 and of course I want it to put others to shame :D)

p.s Does anyone know or has a reasonable theory to what game it will be? and will we ever get the original/originals in time?

Well, there are three games that can come to mind

Dead Rising 2
Bioshock 2
Mass Effect 2

Dead rising is possible. But at best that might be a timed exclusive IF it even comes to the ps3. With capcom these days, it's anyone's guess.

Bioshock to I can almost rule out because the creators already stated that had no plans on bringing it to the ps3. Now if take 2 gets bought out by EA, that could all change.

Mass Effect is the most likely of the three because Bioware was just bought out by EA. And EA is WELL KNOWN for making things multi platform.

So of those three, I'd go with Mass Effect 2

I think mass effect 2, to me dead rising 1 wasnt all that great when I had the 360 unless Dead rising 2 is something so great that its a must have, but I think mass effect is a better game any day.

But to be honest, I have a 360 and never wanted any of their MAJOR exclusives for the most part.

Don't have dead rising
Never cared for Bioshock
I don't like western rpgs, so that rules out mass effect.
I like my fps games more realistic, so that ruled out halo 3.

The only 360 games I wanted were ace combat 6 and beautiful katamari. Both of which should have been on ps3 in the first place

But in all honesty, IF (keyword if) there is a sequel coming for a 360 game it is ALMOST sure to be mass effect. Taking into consideration the multi platform fanatics EA are
