I used to love tekken on the ps1 but this looks crap.

how does this look like crap?????????. It dosent look as good as Virtua Fighter but it dosent bad at all. In fact it looks pretty f'in good. This is a first day purchase for me. with ease. Dnt really play fighting games much but tekken 6 with online play is gonna be d sh!t hopefully it comes out soon. Only other fightin gaem i am looking forward to is soul calibur and that will probably jst be a rental for me so i can try out darth vader but at the end its always tekken. Look at the way steve stomped armor king in round 1 lol

I'm a Tekken fan, but I agree with you. It looks like a Ps2 game.
So does all the other fighting games. Like virtual fighter, soul caliber and what not. I don't get it, why is it so hard to make a fighting game look true next gen.

The animation also looks last gen. Where is the rag doll we have seen almost perfected in other games.

I can already tell the characters have a higher poly count. There more detailed and theres a wider variety of customization options.

and im happy for that. I still play fighters daily and am glad that so much contenet is coming this year. Come Namco gimmie SoCal or Tekken6 quickly.

was never a playstation exclusive the dreamcast originally had it on console but when it went under it went multiplat to sony and msoft original was awesome for dreamcast btw also i cant wait to own people in soul calibur

no, because PS brand mean alot to the Tekken team, so the decide to put to series on PS system only. The one for GBA doesnt count, there wasnt any PS portable system at the time. SE wasnt that popular on PS1, it got really popular on DC, but the system died.

tekken fans are excited about the game. I do agree though ... tossing in something new and fresh would be warmly welcomed.

They did Online was patched into TDR5 via psn, T6 will be online as well.

T6 also has Item moves wider Variety of customization and who knows what else. I do think it should have been A Tekken Tag Tournament 2 instead of Tekken 6 though. I look forward to beating the game with every character and seeing those sweet CGI's too.

I'm a big Tekken fan and this game look good imo. The background and the character are detailed even though the video quality is bad. I love the rage system and the added cool effect when your character is low on health. Plus not to mention all the returning Tekken fighters plus some new ones which adds up to 45+ fighters or was it 50? I lost track. With loads of customization, item weapons and online, the possibilities are endless. And the person controlling Steve Fox pwns. Props to him. I can't wait to see you all online.

That's your opinion. FACT *Tekken sell more copies than Soul Calibur*. Nonetheless Soul Calibur is a good fighter.

we'll thats because tekken is more known of and been around longer than SC ... and nothing against tekken just that sc4 just looks like it will beat this one but tekken is a legend in the fighting game era i must say.

What part of Tekken is brutal? Sure this a great game with good fighst but there is no brutality here.
Mortal Kombat is the only brutal fighter and the one with lots of blood and gore.

It's nice to see the long way this game has come from the very first videos that looked kind of lame to this insane poly counts, Parallax mapping advanced phisics. This looks way better than all the othe fighting games out there, on any console
