Shadow Hearts team is behind Lost Odyssey: They kept this quiet, why?

"An Internet Matlock at NeoGaf has uncovered some very interesting information regarding the newly released (in Japan) Xbox 360 RPG Lost Odyssey. The Feelplus development team that worked on the game seem to be mostly made up of ex-Nautilus employees -- if you don't know Nautilus, get outta town -- it's the now-defunct company responsible for Legend of Dragoon, Phantom Dust and, most importantly, the awesome Shadow Hearts franchise."

I think so, the second one was actually better than the first. The series is very dark, and it has very dark humor. Its very Japanese though, so play it only if you like that kind of stuff. the three on the ps2 are all very good and tie in nicely!!

shadow hearts = great game. it was a shame it was released about the same time as FFX. never got the credit it deserved. kinda like legend of dragoon. released around the same time as ffviii.

is this the game with the turn based action, or am i confusing it with something else?

not sure. In Shadow hearts, when you attacked you had a ring that would show up with certain targets and while the needle is spinning around you press x when the needle overlaps each target, if you hit each target you get multi hits in!!

I only played SH: Covenant which was incredible IMO. The New World was also good.
Why they kept it secret is beyond me. They had also worked on uber awesome Legend of Dragoon!? More beyond me.

shadow hearts is good. but i have to admit the chracters are stiff. if the clothes was baggy that wud be good. thats why i think a lot of paopel shun Bloodshiyt Dragon

11 - It's about time Shadow hearts get its props

that game was not known to a lot of gamers. It was a good game. I'd put it in the TOP 20 games on the PS2.

I'll def be picking up this game, the only JRPG I have not yet played is blue dragon but currently hacking away at Eternal Sonata, and beat Enchanted Arms.

It will flop just like ass effect and blue dragon,
game devs stop trying to sell RPG on the xbug 360, PS3 is will always be the console to own for the best RPGs.

17.1 - Yep me too.

I figured that before I knew about LOD battle system staff were behind it.

I mean it was a circle and "Timed" attack. then I though Shadow hearts because of the "Ring" style or just a circle lol.

But LO will be the game I get. Been watching the videos. while sometimes the graphics were ehh. overall it'll be a nice little RPG game to hold me off until others arrive ^^
