KOEI announces Warriors Orochi

KOEI today announced that its two blockbuster franchises, Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors will finally meet this fall in an unforgettable crossover event. In Warriors Orochi the characters from both franchises must team-up to wage war against a new, yet powerful force.

I loved original Dynasty Warriors but endless sequels with little to no graphical and gameplay upgrades killed it for me. Then they made Samurai warriors will little change. Then Dynasty Warriors: Gundam and now Dynasty Warriors: Samurai Warriors. This is worse than yearly EA sequels for Madden and NFS. And Koei has Bladestorm and Ni-oh both looking like exact copies of Dynasty WArriors. In short, Koei is releasing endless clones of original Dynasty Warriors with different names and themes.
