While I agree, it IS about a month off the release date.

I would rather them release this as DLC and NOT have delayed the game until November 24. I'm considering getting this DLC.

I'd be upset, but the game is already decently lengthy for a game of its type, with lots of replayability. It also sounds like "Zombie Island" doesn't really fit into the main story, which makes it a better fit as quirky DLC.

I worry about its timing though. Is anyone going to care enough to buy Borderlands DLC less than 2 weeks after MW2 releases?

Well, another reason is... i just bought the game. HAHAHA! Fun co-op game. Also, i dont understand when i was starting out my own grenades didnt hurt me, but now they hurt like a b*tch.

That is a sad reason to get it, "have to buy it to get all the trophies". At least say something like the game play is fun, you enjoy playing it online with your friends (though mics are screwy for it atm...). And as for the DLC, I'd love a lower price seeing as they were talking about it, showing off pics, and part of it was in a video interview in the background before the game even hit stores.

I agree with that lower price I just don't see this lasting me that long at all. I think DLC pricing needs to be gauged a lot better. Think about some of the DLC that has sold for 19.99 those are huge. An this probably won't even be half that an the price should reflect that.

the only reason i have all the trophies for borderlands (excluding dlc) is because i've had so much fun playing this game. all co-op games should play like this. just start a public match and people will come and go as they please and help you with your game or just have fun in arena battles.

Well I'm happy they are adding some more stuff to Borderlands. I don't mind it's so close after release date. You got to release it when people are still playing it right?! Should be fun after all what's not to like about killin zombie monsters

but i want to know....

is it scalable? i am at 49 and wanna get all my lootz up to par (Orange) before i settle in..... im curious though if this is something that will be affected by the level of the player or not--

And will there be any kind of insanity mode or survivor mode-- im thinking locales where once you enter you kill until the checkoff/goal then attempt again similar to the 3 chapter arena progress.

---and to those that complain of pricing/value... i know you cant just get friends to trust-- but with my 2 roomies, and a third old school friend-- we will get in on this at 2.50 a pop....with 1 download left just in case.... its a value at that rate-
