I NEED this game. It is one of my most anticipated games right now. GOW3 is the only game that beats this out for me.
It looks to be a mix between Mercenaries, Spiderman and skydiving. Which will be beyond awesome if pulled off correctly.

As long as they add some more variety to the missions, this game is going to be excellent.

Really, I mean everybody hates on the first game, but the only thing that was wrong with it was the repetitive missions.

I've been anticipating this since rumors of its development started leaking a while back.

By the way, anybody know if the island is going to be a similar size to the island of the first game? The shear amount of exploration that could be done was one of the biggest pluses.

I think I read somewhere that there will be 1000km² of land to explore.

Ya, but the 1000km2 thing didn't work out too well for Farcry2! Just really far driving and fighting the same enemies every 5min again and again.

But this game looks awesome and flying those 1000km2 is much better!

P.S. How do you get that squared sign on the keyboard?

We are really stumped as to why they aren't pushing this harder though, I mean there is no release date yet or anything, but it looks so good that I would think they would be doing more hype, this is the first we have seen about it in almost 3 months if I remember. It's definitely charting its own path, though we are still waiting to see what he acquisition of Eidos by Square is going to do to this and other Eidos titles as far as schedule, though since these new assets just dropped hopefully it means its till on target.

Okay, the 1st one had some issues but no one is better equipped with an iron than the developers 2nd time around and it is looking good.

Just for 5hits and giggles, someone should change the news title to, "Just cause 2 looks pretty much as good as Uncharted 2" (can you imagine the politics there) That would speed things along for this largely ignored game.

i think its fair to remember the first one was a port ( well i think so ) if i remember correctly, it was on the 360 and also on the original xbox. I never did understand why they did that. I thought it was good in concept but you could see it was holding back a bit.

now this game seem to have been unleashed from its cage... this could be a big sleeper hit - if pulled off correct.

still so far, so good.

This game is now on my radar, which is BAD because there are TOO MANY GAMES COMING OUT!

Not just games in general, but GOOD games. That's great and all, but they have to start spacing these out. I don't have time to play everything, so this is likely to become another game in my already huge backlog.

5 - Again Agreed
I feel you about these release dates being too close together, its like you really have to pick and choose and it would be better for gamers and companies if they spaced these out because then we could play everything easier, now we just end up with a backlog. The release date for JC2 hasn't been released yet, but hopefully its not around the date of anything else good, the trailer really makes you stand up and pay attention though doesn't it?
