Does 300: March to Glory movie inspired by GOW games?

I know that the movie is based on a graphic novel by Frank Miller and the director of the movie wanted to create a similar atmosphere as the graphic novel, but I think the movie was also inspired by the GOW games.

the events on god war take place in a different reality!

the 300 series dosent relly "TOO" hevily on the whole, multiple god, greek mythology thing!

the article is not discussing story similarities. The article is discussing things like how 300 movie used a similar technique that was used in GOW games the bloody slow-motion cut scenes.
