The game "DW Gundam 2" is released on 12-18-2008.

12-18-2008 through 12-21-2008 (so in four days):

"DW Gundam 2" for the PS3 has sold 176,400 units.
"DW Gundam 2" for the PS2 has sold 99,700 units.
"DW Gundam 2" for the Xbox 360 has sold 27,000 units.
bringing total sales over 303,000 units in first four days.

This is very good!

I wait for the European version. I would like to finally play the game :)

360 doing ok numbers I guess since most ppl in Japan would probably buy it on the PS3 ne ways.

Can't wait for some Strike Freedom action!

Finally a they've added Strike Freedom to a game other than Rengou vs ZAFT 2 Plus on the PS2 ;_; which was only released in Japan.

Now i can duke it out with Sazabi with my Strike Freedom xD

Which makes it even more awesome!

Gundam games are fun and stick very closely to there Anime origins, which many people are fans of this is why we have a crap load of sales for these games thats why they will always keep making them because of the fans you seem to like LBP which everyone are not fans of but guess what who cares next time speak for your self!

I guess it's not obvious to some people that when you say something you are actually speaking for yourself.

Anyway, I stand by my claims. I've played games like these before, I played the original's demo, I've played Dynasty Warriors, Kessen, 99 Nights, Bladestorm, Drakkengaard... how can anyone like these games? uuuuuggghhh, just read the reviews if you don't believe me.

I know they make these games for a reason, because some suckers think bashing buttons repeatedly is *still* fun after how many years of sequels and spin-offs and rehashes already? And that's right, I rather play Little Big Planet, which is innovative and a lot of fun.

Whoever doesn't get LBP should re-examine how much of gamers they think they are.

Man, the Japanese are so weird this gen. I mean, obviously each to his own, but you give them games like MGS4, LBP and Resistance 2 and they barely bat an eyelid. Give them DWG2 and they go nuts. This will likely overtake MGS4 as the best selling PS3 game. I think all that Wii shovleware they're consuming has affected their gaming taste buds. No offense Japan, but yeah, you're strange.

Its actually a good idea.

I think they should have made an LBP catoon about 6 months before the game came out. The cartoon hype would have fed the game hype and it would have sold better.

NO, Japan loves Anime based games.

Hence why the anime dating sim on PC market is bigger than the console gaming market there.

It's True, Akihabara is convoluted with PC dating sim billboards.

Anime is a much bigger industry than gaming over there.

They got 3 really BIG yearly anime conventions opposed to only 1 big gaming convention.
