Haha indeed Scrumptious
The PS3 makes the PS2 games actually look worse then the PS2 originally put them out. That's real silly

You need to learn. The PLAYSTATION 3's BC PS2 chipset runs the games much, MUCH better than on PC emulation! AND The PLAYSTATION 3 is much, MUCH better than, The X Box 360. No contrevorsy! No questions asked!

everyone else noticed the poor visual quality when running older games on the PS3. Do you even have a PS3 or just repeating what your Playstation Monthly told you?
It is rumored the video problem is due to a flaw in the GPU. I thought a GPU that was released in early 2005 would have all the flaws worked out by now!
So if the PS3 is so powerful, why can the 360 run original xbox games in high-definition and the PS3 degrades PS2 and PS1 games?

10 - wait
I'm sorry to say this, but Sony has since released a firmware update to fix the graphical errors in the games. It now plays 100% of PS2 and PS1 games. I put RE:4 on a PS3 and a PS2 side by side on the same TV (Samsung 1080i 20")...and ran it in Progressive scan with a 16:9 ratio. In addition to loading the game faster, the PS3 made it run more smoothly. There was ZERO lag for the video to gameplay cut-off. While it only looked marginally better on the PS3, you CAN tell the difference. (The same works for DMC3, Viewtiful Joe, Okami, and Bully)
