Don't forget it's VGChartz. By the time Konami announced they have sold 1m of MGS4 copies in Europe, for this region VGC have it like 600k (400k wouldn't be a big miss for consoles, but for a software, with few days in sales... *shacking head*). This number can be way off.

Well done MGS4 for very solid sales (No pun intended) but look at the Wii i mean i know brawl came out but a 47% increase in sales is insane plus Wii fit can't be stopped lol Is Wii Sports bundled over there with the console??

They said they SHIPPED 1 million copies to retailers not sold 1 million, but in theory the store bought the copies of Konami so to them it is sold but for consumer purposes it is only 800, 000 Approx sold.

8.1 - That's where a good % of the exclusive game sales come from

It might be odd if it was double, but in the past sales got a lot of help from that region. If it wasn't for PAL, then a lot of decent games like Uncharted, Heavenly Sword, Ratchet, and GT5:P would be quite a ways off from their current LTDs.

of America to the PAL region for those games I mentioned. GT5: P assuming VGchartz numbers were to be valid would be 1.18 million (PAL) compared to 400k (America).

Back in the Day I used to play with buddies, all in front of my Tv but now I can only play online and it has issues. Nintendo just not there yet with social gaming.

A little bit different then American charts. With all the economic issues here in the states we won't be seeing great numbers. we are getting lots of tourist coming here to shop, actually.

This is probably the best Sony will do in the year. After E3 2008, Microsoft will have plenty of exclusive releases and most likely a new price drop, which Sony doesn't seem in position to perform.

The first half of the year was positive for Sony, but the most important half will begin with E3.

The PS3 should have done Much much better. Consider this:

- It is the successor to the PS2, the world's most successful console ever.
- MGSIV, the best game on ps3 for 2 years, has JUST been released.
Was it the system seller it was purported to be? No.
- Sony is haemorrhageing money to sell as many ps3 consoles as it can.

Given these two potentially all-conquering aces that have been played by SONY, I would have expected soooo much ownage.

What other trump cards has sony got left?
- pricedrop? ...no way can SONY afford it.
- KZ2? lol...ever heard of KZ1?

As it stands, the ps3 sales disappoint.
All of its ace trump cards have been dealt.

It will likely catch up worldwide in 2012, if at all.
