Rock Band Guitars Incompatible with Guitar Hero: Aerosmith

So time has passed, and time heals all wounds right? It was with a hopeful heart that some people bought a copy of Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, and tried firing it up with a Rock Band guitar, only to be greeted with a screen telling them, "An unsupported guitar peripheral has been detected."

1 - RB guitars have never workt
for GH! But GH controllers should work for RB... I don't like the RB guitar anyway... not precise enough after medium.

i think its about time people started suing these two companies, because this is rediculous.

Edit:
Why disagree with me? there should be standards in the industry, and this is one example on why there should be standards. this is unacceptable, there should be no reason why these things shouldnt be incompatible, if you dont think suing helps, think again. this is an example of a damage, your money is forciblly being chowed down for by an extra peripheral that you dont need, just because you want to play the other game.
