ROCK BAND Drum Kits Ship to North American Retail Stores

Harmonix, one of the world's leading developers of music-based games, and MTV Games, part of Viacom's MTV Networks , along with distribution partner Electronic Arts Inc., announced today that individual drum peripherals for Rock Band have now started shipping to U.S. and Canadian* store shelves. The Rock Band Drum Kit (Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system, PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system) has a suggested retail price of $79.99.

Unfortunately Canadians must wait 2 to 6 weeks for them to hit store shelves.

They're already out at retailers. I bought the game through gamefly, for cheap, and picked up the drumkit on Saturday at GameStop.
*I use the GHII guitars, and headset for mic.

I saw the drum kit at my local Sam's Club for only $65, I Was so close to getting it but I just needed so many things for around the house that $65 + $55 was something I didn't have to buy the game. I could just wait to get the whole package at a later date.
