Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock gets 9/10

Gameplayer has gone live with its review of Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. They believe the game is the best in the series, but also lament the lack in evolution of the gameplay.

"GH3 stays true to the series' roots; it features the best songs yet (most of them originals), slicker presentation and more responsive hammer-ons and pull-offs. However, it's clear that Harmonix was a crucial member of the Guitar Hero line-up, as its upcoming Rock Band appears to be the logical next step for the series – while GH3 feels a bit like more of the same."
