IGN: NBA 2K9 PS2 Review

NBA 2K9 is a bit of a departure for the series that has always leaned to the simulation end of the basketball spectrum. The speed of the game has been ramped up a bit and it's entirely too easy to run up and down the court, dunking the ball at either end. Even when crank the difficulty up. The feature set is also disappointing as it mirrors what we've seen for some time now. Still, mess with the sliders to find a mix of simulation and arcade and NBA 2K9 can still be a fun basketball experience.
