Looking back to the early days of PlayStation, Crash Bandicoot was the mascot for Sony's console, offering addictive platforming action that had people quickly comparing him to Mario, obviously the mascot for Nintendo. Over the years though, Crash experienced a change of developer, releases across multiple platforms and a change of direction, moving away from its simplistic and fun platforming roots and heading into a more action-oriented direction that left some, a little bit confused, which effected the gameplay and had some very mixed results. Crash: Mind Over Mutant is hoping to fix things, and if nothing else could indeed be a step back in the right direction.
