Jolt reviews Alone in the Dark

Jolt reports:

''Alone in the Dark will surely come to be known as one of the biggest let downs of the year. Impressive set pieces and an initially compelling opening are horribly betrayed by a diabolical control system and frustrating glitches that strongly suggest the game would have benefitted from at least another six months intensive development and testing. As it stands, the overriding impression we're left with is that the true promise of the game is not even remotely close to being worth battling the ridiculously infuriating design. Like Boiling Point and Vampire: The Masquerade, but with far fewer good bits, AitD is just another game that's failed to live up to its lofty ambitions.''
