They just put that one in to make Xbox 360 fans feel better.

Just look at the list:

All the PS3 exclusives - MGS4, FFXIII and Haze - have SLIM or NO chance of appearing on the PS3.

On the other hand, the article says all the major third-party 360 franchises - BioShock and Mass Effect 2 -- are very likely to move to the PS3.

1.3 - The reason they give "Haze" a slim chance of getting ported to the Xbox 360...

is because the only way 360 will get the port is *if* the PS3 version is successful and sells well.

And they don't think the PS3 version will sell well.

Does it matter that the article use that image? The article basically gives MGS4 a "slim" chance of ever getting ported to the Xbox 360. (Personally, I'd give it a "zero" chance.)

It really puzzles me why Microsoft would be so foolish enough to continue to encourage rumors of MGS4/FF13 getting ported to the 360. Maybe Microsoft foolishly think that sort of rumors would somehow dissuade people from buying the PS3 if they assume they will be able to play those games sometimes in the future on the 360. On the contrary, that kind of rumors only create more hype for MGS4 and FF13.

Microsoft should be working on KILLING the buzz for games that are not going to show up on Xbox 360, just like Sony fanboys are working hard to kill the positive buzz for Mass Effect and Too Human. But then again, the Microsoft boys are idiots when it comes to dealing with PR and handling public images.

MS don't mind the rumors about games like MGS4 going to their system because if people think that it is, they might wait to see it come out and there fore not buy a PS3 to play it.

7 - I know this will piss some people off

And I also know that 360 can show some great graphics like COD4 but I don't belive MGS4 can be done on 360 even if they tried. It just uses too much cell. Maybe if they dumbed down the graphics and put it on 12 DVD's but then who would want that?

Stalker might for the reason that it is a FPS, which is possibly the hottest genre right now. As far as The WITCHER I don't think that will ever happen. the follwing is not even cult like to warrant a move to console the added expense will not be worth it. Both very good games though, I can see why you would want to see them on a console.

I must say, Sony really f*cked up on Mass Effect. It was originally meant to be a PS3 exclusive but Sony didn't give out the dev kits early enough for Bioware's liking, that game would have been so, so much better if it were in fact a PS3 exclusive simply because of Bluray. Bioware stated that the DVD9 was in fact presenting problems. That's why the 360 ended up with a 15-20 hour story line for an RPG...it's a shame really...this problem on the 360 will soon evolve into a norm, not enough space on the DVD9 to fully reveal the 360's potential. So I look at it as, if a game is simply AMAZING on the 360, the only thing that matters about it to me is that the PS3 is capable of surpassing it in the future, thus proving an even better experience on the PS3 later. Simply my opinion of course.

technically speaking MGS did start on the PS brand, cause all games before that point were just Metal Gear. The story for solid snake didn't start until the MGS series. From what I remember reading Solid Snake is a clone of the real snake (who is the star of the Metal Gear series). Therefore MGS did start on the Playstation.

bioshock has the same likely hood of coming to the ps3 as haze has going to the 360.

microsoft was only interested in it being a SYSTEM seller, it wont hurt microsoft at all so why would they care.(remember the game was already in development for ps3)

mass effect, no matter how you want to spin it, mass effect will NEVER be microsofts halo and if mass effect went to the ps3, it wouldnt hurt microsoft at all.(remember its owned by EA)

I think Mass effect going to PS3 would hurt MS.
The reason is that at the moment MS can claim that the ME is and exclusive IP. If it goes to PS3, this breaks that image and there fore when the next Mass Effect comes out people will be deciding which system they want to get it on.
Plus if the PS3 version is cleaned up of the short commings on the 360 version, then people might turn to the PS3 version on the next one.

Anyone can make a list and offer their opinion on whether or not something will get ported. Doesn't mean anything. Never thought I would see RE4 on PS2. Never thought I'd see Ninja Gaiden on PS3. And never thought I'd see VF5 and DMC4 on 360. Things change. I see all those games getting ported eventually. Haze?! Slim to none? Yeah I see Sony dishing out the millions to keep that exclusive...
