oh freaking cry me a river, everyone can see what a freakin fanboy you are, and if you actually think people believe you feel sympathy for not seeing uncharted, then you are indeed very stupid. You know you were trying a verbal jab to get the juices flowing, just because you fail at it and make yourself look like an idiot, do you try and backtrack. Your history of posting has shown otherwise, and hey, maybe you were actually being honest, which i laugh at the thought, but you have made it quite clear in the past by your fanboy troll comments, that no one will believe your biased words. I'm glad you have a ps3.. then you can actually play a next gen game that isnt riddled with technical hinderances. Mass effect should be an awesome game, when it comes on a pc, you'll get to play it without all the annoyances, how it should be played. If you want to be believed in this community on your words towards a console that you continuously bash, then change the way you post, and maybe people's perception of you will change, for now, you are nothing but a fanboy troll to me, and thats what its gonna be. I make no mistake or second guesses as to the meaning behind my comments, maybe something you should learn.

If anyone is a troll it's you. Your comment was nothing but trying to take a jab at me. I know you are probably a little kid (and obviously a drug user) so it might not sync in to your pot soaked brain but my comments were geniune. I own Uncharted and it's great and I also own Mass Effect and it's great. Those are my 2 latest purchases and the 2 games I'm most excited about at the moment so I was hoping a better showing for both; before I even realized that Uncharted hadn't been released in the EU. You could of corrected me and I would of thanked you instead you act like a child and call me a troll.

ps3 owners are saying '08 is the year of the playstation and keep putting up the fact that hardware sales are up.

but they aren't exactly supporting sony in the software side.

ps3 exclusive games, aside from launch titles like rfom and motorstorm, haven't exactly been impressing anyone with sales.

this proves disheartening for developers. its nice japan is giving some 100k+ sales to some ps3 games like dw6, but japan won't determine a winner anymore. worldwide sales are a staple of this gen.

wii and ps3 have a huge wall to overcome, and that is the 360 attach rate. its sickening how 360 sells more software than wii+ps3 combined.

What I'm thinking is that; perhaps PlayStation fans have never been big spenders when it came to games, and the reason why PS2 games filled the charts constantly over the past few years, is that simply because there were literally tens of millions of PS2 owners. Perhaps it's the same thing for the PS3.

E.g. A PS2 owner could buy normally 5 games a year, individually that wouldn't impact the market but if it was similar for the rest of the 100+million PS2 owners, naturally it would hit the market big time. Maybe 360 owners are just hardcore.

PS2 was synonymous with gaming, so even a casual player or first-time gamer would have chosen PS2 over GC/xbox.

Wii is fulfilling the casual gamer demographic to an extreme, but with sub 20 mill hardware sales, 3rd parties won't see much of a return in profits. All the big sales from wii come from 1st party games.

in that sense the wii is a failure, since even with the hardware numbers, it's failing to back up with software sales

Why are PS3 games not doing well? Last year at this time the 360 had great software sales. I just hope that BR is not the reason right now. This could be bad for software developers. Sony will make money on movies but how will Kojima make money on movies. At this rate MGS4 will do 2 million copies at best. 10% attach rate for killer games on PS3 would be the best it has had for Blockbuster titles.
