Two Worlds 'High Priority Patch' coming for Xbox 360

Forum user RegnorVex attended PAX '07 (Penny Arcade Expo 2007) in Seattle on Sunday, August 26, 2007 and specifically sought out the Producer for Two Worlds at the SouthPeak booth. He ran a few questions by the producer who explains that a "High Priority" patch is coming to the Xbox 360.

they should have cleaned up the framerate/connection issues before release as I am sure it would have improved people's feelings towards the game considerably

I give them credit for fixing it at all though. They must have felt the backlash after all of the horrible reviews.

If all of the framerate issues were cleaned up it would easily rank in the 7-8 rating IMO.

5 - probably the publishers fault

they did meet the original deadline for the release so the publisher will have forced this out the door, shame really if all the problems where fixed including the dodgy voice acting this could have found it own market with it online multiplayer

was looking forward to this one, will have to wait and see. As my PC blows, i'm really looking forward to a decent mmorpg on either the 360 or ps3, does anyone know when my wish will be granted ; )

8 - Now we see why MS held it up for so long

Can you imagine how buggy it was before MS forced them to improve it enough to release it. Damn publishers just want cash not realizing that today people can rent before buying. And games that are worth buying are only RPG'S that are good, FPS's that have great online and Sports with great online all others are rentals. So they need to get their stuff together or it will be a lot of rentals from now on.
EDIT: Don't take this the wrong way though. I would still recommend the game I am enjoying it myself it just a shame to see a good game get beat up because it was rushed

From the sound of it, No. I've played it and beaten it, i's got flaws but there's a lot to play around with. This game will keep me busy until Halo 3.

I enjoy this game minus the obvious problems. It has a nice fight system with various weapons and HUGE map which is way larger than oblivions.

12 - I saw that user review from Gamespot.com...

And he mentioned he played through the "main quest and half of the side-missions" in 9 hours!

Can anyone confirm or deny this?!

9 hours for an rpg is incredibly short. And I know that Oblivions main quest can be played through in a couple of hours as well, but the additional side missions in Oblivion make the game last for atleast 100+ hours. And if I go by that "reviewer", Two Worlds wouldn't last longer than 20 hours max!

12.1 - Main Quest is a bit short

but half of the side quests AND the main quest...in nine hours? I don't really think that's possible. I've done about 1/3 of the side quests, and beat the main quest and I'm at about 30-35 hours. Now I'm just trying to learn all the skills and find all the locations.

How do you know how much of the side quests you've completed anyway?

Oh well, I don't think I'll be getting it anyway. Not in the state it is now.

If they do actually optimize it properly with that fix I might consider it, but only if it will keep me going for atleast 40 hours or so.
