1 - very nice.

I'm very happy for BioShock. It is a magnificent game and deserves to be selling well.

I actually was skeptical about how well it'd sell due to its obscurity and lack of multiplayer - but I'm sure the demo and reviews were enough to get people to go out and pick the game up.

i got my copy for my 360 for $39.99 ($42.03 with tax) from walmart, i had a circuit city ad that had $10 off and it had the price of the pc version listed below the 360 one and thats what the clerk price matched me at... she was like "that sure is a good savings" (old lady voice) i just smiled.

edit: as a side note it really IS every bit as good as everyone has been saying, i love it. and its the little things that do it too. like when you are in the bathysphere thing at the start of the game and the projector is running for the "in flight movie" you can see light reflecting off the dust in the air... i mean who thinks to put that kinda thing in a game... wonderful.

6.1 - Plenty at BB

I picked mine up at Best Buy and they had plenty. I also made them price match CCity's ad so I could get the 'rewards' points.

The game is awesome, I spent 4 hours last night slowly wandering through the game. There's a lot to take in for those who are interested in that sort of thing. Seems to be a plenty of things you'd miss by running through. Excellent game, no matter how you 'splice' it!

wow very unexpected in my book. I knew it was a great game but I was unsure it was mass appealed to sell THIS well. Well I did tell 3 friends who knew nothing to try the demo and they all bought the game today. I still haven't entered rapture... :'(

12 - I think that Microsoft

went through a lot of effort to get the word on the street about Bioshock.

Obviously all of the money spent on advertising paid off in the longrun.

It is really nice to see a true AAA title selling well as it will give the developer more incentive for a sequal. I wish all the good games in the industry sold well and the garbage Movie licensed and EA rehashes wouldn't sell.

Then overall the gaming public would have more great games like this to play.

This is really a great accomplishment, I really thought the game wouldn't garner much attention. The demo was great showcase, and what's even more interesting is that it is doing well in the late summer. This bodes well for the next two months, if the game continues on this run. Good job 2k...

so I saw a Daddy walking around with no sister, is this normal.
I got the second one, after the first daddy you fight. harvest and went to get more stuff, with the new adam. when i returned i saw one banging on the door, very depressed sounding. I didnt wait, to see if he was friendly, before i blasted away... maybe i ought to of.

While the Article itself says the writer had to drive to BestBuy to get a copy. Only that a few GameStop, Circuit Cities and others locations were sold out. Which I dont doubt. When I picked up my copy, they were only had the pre-reserved ones. But Still. His qoute is false from the actual story.

24 - GOT MY 360 SINCE 2005

And as soon as i realize that it was getting too hot, i bought a small fan and put it right next to it where air would blow sideways and it worked. my 360 has been working perfect. I have many friends that have been using the same method and we play together for hours and it never die on us. I recomment the same for those 360 owners.
