Shadowrun Edges Forza 2 for the Gamefly Pole Position

Xbox 360 gamers are starting to show their muscle as Shadowrun tops the Gamefly Top 10 list with Forza Motorsport 2 not far behind the pole position... Other notables include Mario Party 8 and Resident Evil 4 for the Nintendo Wii, while Darkness takes the top spot for the PlayStation 3.

3 - Seems logical

Forza 2 for most people is a title you'd want to buy. Shadow Run was more a rent and see title since it's pretty much multiplayer only. Explains why more people are renting it then Forza 2.

I think the majority of 360 owners like the premise of Shadowrun but just aren't sure about it based on the $60 price tag....so renting first is a good option.

FYI...i believe a demo is coming for it today or tomorrow on LIVE

5 - My 2 cent

I expect that. I wouldn't buy Shadow run but would be fun to play online for awhile. Forza 2 is a buy if you are into the car game scene but does not live up to the hype or photos I have seen before it came out. So if you are not a hardcore racing game fan don't buy Forza 2 either, rent it or just play the demo. Shadowrun should only cost 39.99 like Warhawk on PS3 since they are both online only. I wouldn't pay full price for online only and I think most people wouldn't.

6 - i love shadowrun

i bought it cus it was cheaper then any of the other new games (ireland). and i had read so many reviews on it. i think its excellent, it cud certainly do with more features, but the gameplay was brilliant and its just good fun. very addictive. also it is posted in the ps3 section, cus its just general gaming news. and makes reference to darkness on the ps3

well, neither shadowrun or call of juarez looks great to me to be honest. But forza is definitely an addicting and great game.

9 - Forza 2 is a buy- Shadowrun is a rent

That makes sense to me. Forza 2 is way too deep of a game to just rent. And Shadowrun has been pitched as a little sumthin' to tide the online deathmatch crowd over until Halo 3 arrives.
I'd say the high sales numbers of Forza 2 are to blame for the drop in the rental rankings, and not Shadowrun
