WoW: Warlocks with two demons in Cataclysm?

In a bluepost discussion on the official WoW boards member of development Greg "Ghostcrawler" Street hinted, that the developers at Blizzard were toying with the idea of allowing warlocks to have two demons for a short time of battle. Reason for the discussion was the reduction of the Doomguard-cooldown from 20 to 10 minutes. Apparently Blizzard wants to implement the possibility for locks to summon a permanent and a temporary demon at the same time with WoW Cataclysm, which could result in a bad class balance especially in the arena.

I hate the fan sites that assume each possible change would be made in a vacuum, thus destroying the game. They're talking about the next expansion, and they completely rebalance the classes every expansion. Nothing to worry about.

1.1 - Do you PLAY this game?
It would be both wise and prudent to assume that Blizzard 'tests' things in a vacuum, if they even test them at all. There's literally years of evidence now that in so far as class balancing goes Blizzard lives in their own world completely separate from the one their customers live in.

And even if it isnt balanced. Locks have been considered a gimp class since mid BC. They deserve their time in the sun imo!

I find this comment shocking since I topped the raid dps consistently and with ease as a warlock.
