since all of the backgrounds are prerendered, it's dated far better than most games from that time

The game was great back then... the end part was weird. You have clones or something.

This explains the end: http://www.youtube.com/watc...

So what's with people complaining about Wii graphics in so many threads if graphics don't matter? Graphics are important for immersion.

The Wii is a next gen console. These games are 9-10 years old. From which *should* we expect contemporary visuals exactly?

As for immersion, if you need pretty explosions instead some of the very *best* writing in RPGs, stick with Halo and Killzone.

Many people cite this as the greatest WRPG of all time so if its rereleased i will give it a go.

As long as your not playing on a massive screen, they have ages well. Other then being abit pixeled they still look nice enough you can't really improve 2.5D game like these much tbh.

For some reason I am getting into the 2.5d games more now that I bought a big screen, they just look so much better than they used to on this TV. Maybe its just the model I bought.

Who cares about graphics when Planescape: Torment is one of the best and deepest games ever...alongside Deus Ex, of course. ;) Baldur's Gate, too.

Then it is well in your interests to buy them, much like the Fallout Trilogy pack that Interplay released a few months back.

They're trying to finance the re-opening of studios like Black Isle, so if you want to see a return to something like a golden age of gaming as opposed to what we have now, definitely check them out ;)

Were did you get that from, about them trying to finance a Black Isle reopening?

They should also buy Obsidian and what ever is left of Shiny, the family will be complete once more! :)

Hope people buy these, they're really good games. But I want Interplay to make MDK3 already.

It's always great posting in PC gaming posts because the Open Zone is empty 99% of the time! :)
