S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat patch improves DirectX 11 support

It seems GSC Game World's latest installment in the survival-horror shooter series was released in Russia, but not without a number of game crashing bugs.

Patch v1.6.01 (which is currently in development) aims to fix a number of crashes occurring in the single player and multiplayer game modes, improves DirectX 11 support and performance improvements.

STALKER games are always buggy. I enjoyed "Shadow of Chernobyl" because it was fresh and innovative. Clear Sky, not so much because it was basically the first game with a different story.

I hope this one has something new and interesting other than DX11 to surprise us all. If not, meh, I'll pass this time.

This s.t.a.l.k.e.r dx11 crap is getting ridiculous, the dx10 version looks like early dx9, and dx11 looks acceptable as a dx10 game, they have obviously just optimised the dx11 aspects while doing the rest cheaply.

Let's put a 30 year old demolition car next to a new mustang, which looks better??

It will still be a long time until games surpass crysis, (besides crysis 2) i think another year or two and it will be beat.

Fingers crossed far cry 3, dead space 2 etc have dx11 features, but it's doubtful, F you multiplat downgrading
