Plants vs Zombies arrives at retail

Last week, a stripped-back version of Plants vs Zombies arrived as a free-to-play title online. Today, the full game, lauded by critics worldwide and the proud recipient of a healthy 8 out of 10 at Resolution, is available to buy in all good shops across the UK.

Plants vs Zombies became PopCap's fastest selling game ever, and with good reason. A fantastic, hilariously inspired tower defence game, it took old ideas and presented them in an adorably fresh way, chock full of silly humour and delightful nuances.

this game is like crack, and on your first play through (roughly 10 hours for me) you will have a silly grin on your face all the way till the end, it's just a funny game.

I've got into a habbit of not finishing many games these days, in fact its quite rare that I finish a game, but PvZ I played all the way through in 1 sitting and loved it.
