I think everyone is missing the keyword in this article: "expansion".

Does this mean it will be DLC or at least an option for SF4 owners? God I hope so.

It was not the developer who called it an "expansion", as a matter of fact he stated that he did not want people to think of it as an expansion.....and that it would not simply be released as dlc. The new game will have different coding, and will sell at a discounted price. In addition, there is suppose to be an incentive for individuals who hold on to the original SFIV disc.

Thats a bummer really I just found some pretty cool arcades out here in So.Cal now there will be no point for me to make it out there. But the tournament scene should be crazier then ever once SSF4 is released.

Arcades are dying out. All we have in Minneapolis is GameWorks and they're trying to move out. The Mall of America used to have an arcade, but I think it closed down years ago. It's hard to find them these days.
