TGR: StarCraft II Hands-On Preview

StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty is as close to a sure fire hit as they come. Its predecessor is still played heavily online, was revered as the best game of 1998 by many outlets, and has been called one of the greatest games of all time by some fans. Despite all of this pressure, Blizzard has painstakingly creating a follow-up that the company believes will ring true to the franchise, while also changing enough to be considered its own title.

2 - Old Coke, New Coke?
Starcraft is a great game, of that there is no doubt. However, one has to wonder how well a sequel will be compared to the original. Example Everquest 2... it never really reached the same level of popularity as the original, many actually quitting it and going back to the original or WoW (sometimes both). This in spite of all the graphic goodness, new engine and game mechanics in the new version.
