$20 Steam Jedi Knight Collection not fit for modern systems

The Jedi Knight collection on Steam may seem like a good deal, but the games haven't been fully updated to work on modern systems. Here's what you need to know before buying.

That's a load. Why even bother selling it if you haven't made it compatible with the current market you are selling it to?

D-bag move on Lucas Arts part.

Where have you been? Have you not seen the sad state of Star Wars? That last game didn't prove anything? George Lucas is a deluded greedy pig and the government should have stepped in and taken Star Wars away from him for the good of future generations.

Jar Jar Binks was a warning sign that too many people ignored. By the time the word midiclorian was uttered on opening day of The Phantom Menace, assault teams should have been knocking his front door in and dragging him to the mental ward.

Jedi Outcast/Jedi Academy probably only 2 that work well. I still play em online at times. Engine is so old for Dark Forces 1 & 2 though. Hell I can mod that game. lol. Its that old. So easy to toy around with as well. I am sure if someone is dedicated enough to come up with a mod. They could fix its problems. Can't be too hard to figure them out.

Yet again Lucasarts reveals their true colours. They are no longer about providing a top quality product and more about trying to con people out of money. I was all set to repurchase the Jedi series from steam but I was waiting to see whether they had made any attempt to get the series running on modern hardware.

I am happy I waited now but dismayed they couldn't take a bit of time and cash to make these games WORK on modern systems. Hey lucasarts here is how it works, you do work and I reward you for it. You try and con me and you get nothing.

All we need now is some idiot from Lucasarts to make a ridiculous claim that you need a $100,000 pc to play these games and their failure will be complete.

I'm just gonna buy an ancient pc to play old games on, you can pick one up down a boot fair for less than £10.
