STAR WARS fans prepare for the new Star Wars: The Old Republic MMORPG. Yes it is a long way off. On October 15, 2009 at 5pm PDT, SWG will be shutting down 12 servers said Community Manager Draakull. This is almost half of the current 25 servers. Creation of new characters on these servers has already been disabled. Expect more to shut down as the SWTOR release date approaches.
You can use the free character transfer service to get off of the below servers by October 15, 2009. But do not worry Galaxies fans, the SWTOR graphics aren't much better so it shouldn't be too much of a transition.
