Activision: DJ Hero is "tremendous value"

Eurogamer writes: "Activision has told Eurogamer that DJ Hero, which costs over 100 of the Queen's pounds, actually represents "tremendous value".

"We don't comment on our product pricing strategies," said the publisher, ominously. "However, we believe that DJ Hero will provide tremendous value for our consumers by delivering an all-new interactive music experience with over 100 individual songs that are highlighted in over 80 unique mixes, a wide variety of music from some of the biggest artists including Jay-Z, Eminem, Benny Benassi, Gwen Stefani and Black Eyed Peas among others.'"

Well for it to be a truly fun experience it needs to have these guys:

1st - Paul Van Dyk

2nd - Armin Van Buuren

I couldn't choose anyone for third I was going to say Tiesto, but didn't feel like it :/.

As well as the ability to have dual tables (at the price they have for the game of course) then I'll go for it :p.

*Folds arms and waits for Activision to listen to my ridiculous demands.*

I would say throw in some Q-bert, A-Track, Invisible Scratch Picklz and some good Drum and bass Dj's like DJ Hype and Danny the Wild Child and you got yourself a deal!

it's overpriced and just trying to ride the peripheral train...

2 - I say: DJ Hero is "tremendous rip-off"
Activision complains about other company pricing their products, but yet their are ripping everyone off with this highly price piece of crap. Activision, instead of b1tching about other companies pricing strategies, look at your own before complaining. I hope the product fails so they can learn a lesson or two about complaining when they are doing it worst to their consumers.

I like the way they refure to comment on their pricing strategy(meaing we don't even het a reason for paying so much more for this than the US gamer does!) yet they publicly call out Sony over theirs even when the PS3's price/manufacturing costs are very well documented!

Nobs.

i would pay AT THE MOST $100 for this and the game. i can understand why theyd price RIDE at $120 as they can mak that work with othr games, but this a one game/series peripheral. i cant even see his getting anywhere near as man sales as GH did.
