It is not an usual game name. The word is very impacting. It could be the battle.net new name for the game launcher/platform (think Steam). Or a new WoW expansion dealing with the sundering (Maelstrom). Or a one of the two unannounced games.

Can't think of anything else that fits that, besides Diablo III. The explosion of the Worldstone was a cataclysm that destroyed Mt. Arreat.

just another idea, maybe its one of the names of the 2nd and 3rd parts of starcraft 2, seeing as its going to be a 3 parter. Although wasn't cataclysm the name of a Homeworld expansion?
