'Age of Conan' adds purchasable character slots

Those few who are still playing Age of Conan can now purchase an extra character slot for the equivalent price of $15.

This raises the number of characters any player can have from nine to ten.

who wants to buy a slot for this game?

Funcom shot themselfs at the foot, even with all the bugs and lack of content at launch it was so fun, then it came.

Funcom promises X content, content never comes
Funcom instead of fixing bugs toys with balance, changes game to Age of Casters
Funcom adds little content like 1 more merchant and increases the amount of bugs

it was horrible

What I find funny is the price. I can get a new copy of Age of Conan for $15 or less at several stores. And that's what I need to pay for ONE extra character?

Yes, it's funny to see people diss WoW and claim others will dethrone it. I'm not trying to say WoW, is the best, but people are still playing WoW and that came out in 2004 ... Meanwhile, you have this heap of trash on it's last legs.

But will anyone who DOES play the game pay that much for a TENTH character? Is there really so much to do that people can have 9 characters they can't live without?

It sounds desperate. Even moreso since they're using a stupid point system. Service Points? Really?

It sounded as if Funcom had really improved upon AoC, but moves like this leave me wondering.
