Command & Conquer 4 revealed?

For a while, it was unclear if Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars (2007) would get a proper sequel. The Xbox 360 and PC real-time strategy game was a critical smash, earning a 9.0 from GameSpot (on the PC) and selling a respectable 701,000 units in the US, according to the NPD Group. However, the expansionsCommand & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath and spin-off Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 (both 2008) didn't fare as well with reviewers and only sold around a third as many units domestically.

i hope there is another but tbh the last great cnc game was red alert 2

since then, they've not been as good and there's no way in hell they'll beat the original cnc and red alert

Tib Wars was great. RA3 was horrible though. It was laggy even offline and just felt bad.

I love playing Tib Wars online. I am glad that they are going back to the Tib universe. It is my fav by far.

The Red Alert2 was the last great game and after that i feel that they lost their great imagination in creating another good game in the series.

oh yeh generals was fun too.

it seems they want to finish the C&C story. I'm not all that keen on the idea as an old C&C fan but over the years I've been caring less and less for this franchise which is such a shame since it used to be so great.

omfg i hope there is a command and conquer 4,c&c3 and kane's wrath, stayed true o the original feel of the game, when playing c&c3 it felt like the first c&c did 15 years ago,and that's a good thing, and red alert 3 was crap....but i still bought it cos i'm an idiot.

Those NPD numbers are only accounting for US sales numbers. Crysis for example sold 2+ million copies worldwide and only sold maybe 1/6 of that in the US. C&C3 was reported to have sold 2.5 million copies worldwide, not much shorter of the 3 Red Alert 2 and Tiberium Sun had each sold. The US isn't the largest market for games and certainly not the largest for PC games. People look to narrowly at game sales as only being in the US. Whoever wrote this article is very ignorant.
