One of the cool things about the FF MMO is that it's the only one currently on platforms (am I right, not sure).

They have survived this long, it's obviously possible to have an MMO on console :)

I always like the yearly event, and the aniversary ring is aparently a one EVER item. So if you got last years, you won't get one this year...

Or something.

I could be wrong!

Nahh, you get a new one each year, as long as you've used/thrown away the one from last year.

Can only obtain one once a year though. Though they've added a new ring now, that you can obtain once a week, as long as you complete a server wide thing.

Seven years seems like a funny anniversary to have. Oh well. Glad it's still going strong, anyway :)

This is not a game you'll see dying soon. I quit 2 years ago. Glad i did. But i do miss. But takes alot.. aloot of time. But the experience was great. Multiple jobs 75, pimped out gear, HNM LS camping all the time. Really powerfull game, especially on the social part. Sometimes it can be a little too much. People expect you to be there. If you're not, you're out of the game. It can be real real tough. It really depends on your goals and the people you hang out with. But wow, it sure was amazing. But like with everything.. everything got it's time. This is by far the best MMORPG i played (i tried alot of others). Deffinetly looking forward to the Rapture project. E3. Please.

I'm in about the same boat. I quit about two years ago, invested a lot of time into this one. I started playing back when it was first released on PS2 (The only thing I ever used my HDD for on that thing... well, and I tried out RE: Outbreak)

One of the best MMORPGs out there. At least for me. It did have a certain hold to it and its safe to say I was addicted for a bit. After you feel like you have done everything though and realizing how much time you were investing in it, then it lost its charm a little bit.

I did start up a new character on a different server this last month and saw that have really made the game easier (IMO) for lower levels. At least for leveling up, getting help from NPC, ect. Still was tough to make money though... When wasn't it though?
