Prototype boss - "Developing any open-world game starts at a difficulty level of 'hard'"

1 - Hmm.
Still don't know about this game. I'll have to wait for the reviews. Because this looks too much to me like the preliminary excuses developers have before the game comes out to try and explain why the game isn't as good as should have been.

2 - preliminary excuse?
What developer excuses a game before it comes out? Read the short piece again and youll realise that he said that they have been trying to exceed expectations on all fronts and that its very tough.
