Development of the Witcher on consoles stopped

Eurogamer Portugal writes: "The development of the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the promising RPG The Witcher has not been canceled but it was suspended.

Were of the French Widescreen Games that announced the suspension of the adaptation of the game for consoles, games that would be developed in collaboration between Atari and CD Projekt.

Olivier Masclef, manager Widescreen Games said in a press note of that, "The development of the game The Witcher: Rise of the White Wolf was suspended pending the resolution of financial problems between the project partners. We regret this situation mainly to the fans eagerly awaiting for this game. We find an intelligent solution to our partners who are involved in this ambitious project. "
