Warhammer Online: Beyond the Sands Live Event - Now Live

From the Warhammer Online Herald:

"The race to the Land of the Dead has begun, as the forces of Order and Destruction vie for the valuable resources to fuel their expeditions and build an airship. Join the effort by speaking to Garek Hammershield in Altdorf's War Quarters or Nebesh Painson in The Inevitable City's Fate's Edge."

nobody plays this game anymore.
it used to have plenty of players, and now on even the most populated servers at peak times doesn't have anymore than about 40 people playing.
it's a real shame because this game is very good, the quests keep you busy, and the way it does RvR and tracks which faction is winning in that server is really brilliant. almost makes you feel like you're actually fighting against the opposing side, not just a PvP or RvR slapped on the game, but an essential part of the game.
WoW is too casual and easy now.

Well our server is pretty much filled up, we even have ZCPH, Zone crashes per hour, 1000 people in Praag at once, sounds amazing but it's not if you have to wait 5 minutes every 30 minutes till the server go up again.

This aside, Mythic dug their own grave, the RvR is nothing like they have promised, it all comes down to Zerg vs. Zerg, no skill involved 90% of the time. Last patch pretty much ruined 50% of the "OK" parts of the game, ergo, nothing left at all. I am still stunned how they managed to produce so many bugs with 1 patch although they have Testing Servers in the EU and the US.

Honestly the game feels half baked, the new features are so stupid you can't help but wonder what kind of ape came up with them. No City scenario for 30+? Seriously? While we managed to reduce Altdorfs rank to 1 star before without breaking a sweat, now we can't even lock it down because the low ranked players need to win the scenarios, it's just... they don't care.

Mortal Online is on top of my list right now, although the graphics look concerning, to say the least. I hope there won't be any major lag caused by the UE3.
