Guild Wars: New Anniversary Content Preview

Arenanet has revealed new content that Guild Wars players can expect to see in the upcoming fourth birthday celebrations.

28 April is the official fourth birthday of Guild Wars, and in addition to the usual annual events including Birthday Cupcakes, the Shing Jea Boardwalk and fourth year miniatures, players can look forward to a number or extra goodies including new storage options, new daily quests and a new area where players can purchase a selection of common and prestige pets.

Two screenshots and a video have also been released to give players a look at the new area, the Zaishen Menagerie.

Wow, that's really nice. And to think that GW is free, as opposed to WoW!

That game looks so nice. I used to play it before WoW, but I ran out of stuff to do pretty quickly.

I saw it on the Official site; the team that worked on the Original Guild Wars is working on Aion right now. That's the reason of the delay.

Haven't played GW in a few weeks and this update might draw me back just to check it out. After 4 yrs I'm so looking forward to GW2 I hope it's no later than 2010 but with no beta testing announcement I'm thinken it won't release earlier than 2011. Might be too late then.
