Hellgate: London Patch 1.5 Details

HanbitSoft has announced details of the upcoming patch 1.5 for its action RPG game, Hellgate: London, revealing maps of two new areas and screenshots of new content.

The first new area will be the Training Grounds, a new outside starting zone in Hellgate where players learn how to use weapons and fight. Once completed, they will move on to the next new area, the Maritime Museum. This is a huge two-storey building that is likely to become the new base of operations for Hellgate.

Still hoping someone will re-release this in western countries. It's obviously doing well in Asia if they're still adding new content.

Yup, seems crazy not to re-release this in Europe. Someone needs to step up, there's clearly still a market for it.

Totally. If the game's actually supported, and fixed up, and patched, I reckon they could at least get a bit more of a single-player following.

I definitely think they should consider just buying the rights of the EU/US game. None use it anyway, how expensive could it be? Also, they could consolidate the two sides to one.

The game was release full of bugs and lacking content. Flagship basically fixed that before they went under, so a release NOW had really been optimal.

Unfortunately, it's unlikely to ever re-appear in the west.

The release was a shambles, they ran out of money and pushed the game out before it was ready, by miles.

Shame, it had huge potential.

I think the amount of extra material they add to the game is astounding.

Yes. Lots of stuff that should have been in the release. Really.

The first thing that comes to mind is the Marketplace that now comes in 1.5...

There's clearly still a large following for it. Just make it free to play like Runes of Magic or something, look how well that's doing!
