Aion is getting released soon on PC .. and Soul blade is coming in 2010 .
Hopefully those are the ncsoft titles on ps3

Hmm, Always wanted to at least try Lineage 2 for a short time to see if it would be worth playing [Still playing FFXI because of the ability to change jobs whenever I want :)] Yet, Lineage II still looks interesting.

Yet Baka-AkaB made an interesting point about bringing up Soul blade which I probably should wait for..

I played L2 for about 3 months before I got tired of it. The game is fun, but the grind is hell and there's far too many gold sellers and farmers.

Ah so would you say the Gold farming is the worst problem of the game or more so the grinding? I find tat Final Fantasy XI may have the worst :/. Also don't know this either, but are they doing something to remedy the problem of gold sellers?

it's been about a year since I've played, but there were so many obvious bots running around the field it's hard to say whether they were doing much about it at all. I used to play Ragnarok so grinds to me aren't a big deal, but the game is old and there aren't a whole lot of new players so it's tough to meet people who are willing to talk or help you out.

I did enjoy the game for the time I played it though. It's a beautiful world and they usually get some pretty good events going. And NC is good about updating it regularly too, I think about every 6 months there's a new major update, and since they're free it's even better. I heard that they lowered the XP curve too so it's apparently easier for the lower levels to catch up to the action as well. If you can make it past the gold sellers and the early grind it's really not that bad, castle sieges are fun and now they've got fortress battles too. Just keep an eye out for PKers ;)

Ah over a year ago, so maybe they have hopefully made some improvements over the course of that time that you've been away (FF11 was the same way and thankfully they've made some improvements as well). Oh I remember Ragnarok all to well to, game was pretty addictive in and of itself.

I probably could make it past the grinding and the easy leveling curve may be an annoyance for a while (like some games where it's challenging). gold sellers on the other hand may pose a problem as they usually drive up prices of everything else within' the game and if you can never get a hold of that much gold for a piece of armor that is needed; then the game just becomes an annoyance to play as it seems like you'll always be trying to get enough money :/

Thanks for the analysis of the game, bubbles to you :)
