Fable II for PC? "No comment," says Molyneux

Lionhead boss Peter Molyneux has once again refused to confirm or deny the existence of a PC port for Fable II.

When asked by VG247 if we could expect a Windows-based version of the game, he replied with a quick, "No comment".

Rumors of the SKU have been floating about since last year.

If you absolutely love RPGs then it might be worth it esp. with it's low price, otherwise just pass it there are far better RPGs available on nearly every platform.

i just got it for mac.. The Lost Chapters.. i'm only about 1 hour in. it's pretty good so far.. haven't learned much from it.. but since i want to play fable 2 someday and i was craving an RPG i chose fable 1..

It's pretty good in my opinion. You should youtube it i guess.. i think it's gonna be good so i didn't want to spoil it..

IMO, the original Fable was BETTER on the PC. Lost Chapters was jam-packed with content. Additionally, I can see the PC version of Fable II having all the DLC + new bells and whistles right out of the box "WHEN" (not "if") it is released.

Now, where's my Gears 2 for PC?

Don't own a 360, played it on a friend's. Really liked the game, I can only hope it comes to the PC. Fable 1 did, so seems likely.

This game and Dead Rising are the only 360 exclusives that I would love to have on my ps3.

Fable 2 is one of my favorite games of this generation. I can stand behind your desire to have it on PC. Dead Rising? I didn't get the appeal of that one, though. Not a good game in my opinion. Boring, repetitive, conceptually bland and unoriginal... but hey, that's just my opinion.

I guess I can see why Fable 2 might come out on the PC because M$ can make more money from it.... but seriously, there are only just a FEW Xbox 360 "exclusives" that haven't come out on the PC or aren't coming out on the PC.

It seems almost like if you've got a PC and PS3, you can play pretty much play almost all the games you want, and I wouldn't be surprised if the PC version came with the 360 DLC for Free already on the Disc as well.

@ Below. I agree with you bro but if you read my first n4g blog you might know my little reasoning behind it all. Basically I just don't see the value in owning the system when I get to play on PC cheaper, free online and with all the graphical updates and all that stuff as well... I am a PS3 fanboy but I do enjoy PC gaming and thats not just a cop out like most gamers on here use to justify not owning a 360. I truly do look forward to PC gaming. Hell I even made a Diablo 3 post today...

if the value is there for you then rock on and when people ask me what they should buy I tell them "What do your friends play and do you plan on playing online" And really if they all have 360's then I tell them thats what they should do. Personally I hated the "live" experience and all the nickle and diming. I'll take the PC version anyday even if I need to wait a while for it and even if I never see it I have a ton of stuff to play.

While it is true that alot of the xbox exclusive games do make their way over to the PC eventually, i much prefer being able to play them on my 360 the day they come out instead of having to wait a year or two.

I do recognise alot of the time the pc ports are superior due to the things they can do on a PC - so i wouldn't rule out getting the PC version once it came out again.

Are mostly PC ports or timed exclusives. Seems like even if MS swears a game is exclusive sooner or later it will show up on the PC or even the PS3. PC and the PS3 is an awesome combo. With both gamers can look forward to play Uncharted2, God of War3, Mass Effect 2, Alan Wake, etc.

People forget, Microsoft doesn't publish PC games anymore. In the last two years they haven't published any new PC games. Going from I believe 8 in 2007.

I bet you my PS3 vs your 360 that they will have a few announcements at E3 and those will be pertaining around PC games a lot more then 360 exclusives.

Most people would feel that if it's not coming then PM would say "Not coming"...
